About Me

So what is this anyway?

EDIT: This piece of the site is under construction.

So, there are a lot of World of Warcraft gold-making blogs, and I like several of them. There is a lot of good advice all over.

However, what about gold information for those who are just starting or who are just starting on a new server? Certainly, gold in World of Warcraft isn't too hard to come by, but I want to make a blog for those who just started a level one on a server and are trying to get some gold for their mounts. That is what I am trying to do here.

My goal is to start a new character on a new server and examine some piece of gold making. I am not going to go into the high level gold making stuff, that is for others. This is to help you get started on gold making. Not all of the ideas are new, and when I post something, I will try and give credit to the place I read about it.

That is about it. If you want to contact me, you can send me an email to WoW.Ohnekase@gmail.com

You can also follow me on twitter: @WowOhnekase

Meet Ohnekase: Going to the Carnival

Step right up, folks.  Step right up.  Come and meet the fantastic Troll Ohnekase.

Earthen Ring, US
We have all seen the great gold-makers working.  @DEAzeroth, @PowerWordGold, @Faidtastic, @AltosGold.  Now, see the magnificent low level gold maker Ohnekase.  He is here today to tell about the wonders of the Darkmoon Faire.  Bring your alts, bring your kids, everyone is invited.

And while you are here, don't miss the great Darkmoon Faire Ponies and Rams.  Get shot out of a cannon, whack gnolls, shoot guns, and for a different flavor, fight to the death in our arena.

And now, without further ado, here he is:  The Troll, the lowbie Ohnekase.

Thank you, Thank you...

So, its the beginning of the month, you are bored and have nothing to do.  You have some auctions up, but you are looking at what else to do.  Go to the Darkmoon Faire.  The Darkmoon Faire (I am going to Abbreviate it to DMF) is a new feature introduced in 4.3 that is an excellent gold making opportunity for those that know where to look.

"But wait," you ask, "the Darkmoon Faire wants me to pay gold for stupid tickets.  I can't get anything from there, its just a dumb island."  And that my friends, is why we make sure to look in places where others don't think about.

So, lets get started on ways to make money in the DMF.

But where the heck do I go...

To get to the Darkmoon Faire, just go see this NPC.

This is the Darmoon Faire Mystic Mage.  For a small fee (which scales based on level), she will teleport you to your factions DMF portal:  Alliance to Goldshire and Horde to right outside Thunder Bluff.  The fee is pretty paltry:  If you are 85th level, its 30 silver.  Low level characters pay much less.

Before you go, make sure to pick up their Darkmoon Faire Quest.  It will give you a Darkmoon Adventure guide and some free stuff.  Very worth it, trust me (we will get to that).

Once you get to Goldshire/Thunder Bluff, go through the portal.  You will then be in a spooky forest (ooooohh...)

Don't panic, just follow the path.  The signs will direct you to the DMF.  Just don't look too closely at the Spooky eye, it will be looking around.  Speaking of the spooky eye, I am really interested to see what plot points could come out of the Darkmoon Faire.  Maybe the spooky eye is an Old God with crazy plans.  I am excited to see what they do with it.

Go turn in the quest (if you need to) and get your guide.

Now that you know how to get there (which I am told is half of the battle), lets go over things to do before, during and after.

Before you go to the Faire...

OK, so the first thing I like to recommend is to get your professions (primary and secondary) to at least 75.  Once you hit level 75 in your profession, there are several Darkmoon Faire weeklies that you can go do.  Each of these weeklies will give you XP, money, Darkmoon Faire Tickets, and a 5 point skill up in your profession (which is huge).  It is a pretty good idea to do this if you ask me.

In addition, make sure not to go to the Darkmoon Faire empty-handed.  Some of these DMF weeklies ask you to make stuff, with some of your own stuff.  The following profession quests at the DMF require certain items.

Alchemy:  5 Moonberry Juice
Cooking:  5 Simple Flour
Inscription:  Light Parchment
Archeology:  15 Fossil Fragrments
Leatherworking:  Coarse Thread, Shiny Baubles, and Blue Dye
Tailoring:  Coarse Thread, Red Dye, and Blue Dye.

The rest of the professions should be able to be done without taking anything with you (if I missed something, let me know).

At the Faire...the secret DMF Black Market

There are several things you can do once you are at the Faire.

First, you know how I just listed a bunch of items you need for your profession quests.  Why not take a few of everything and bark in general that you have them for say, 5 gold.  You might get a little trolled, but I guarentee you people will look and go, "Oh shoot, I am a Tailor and I forgot my dye and thread.  Eh, 5 gold is nothing.  It is worth trying.  You might be out 15 silver at max, even if nothing sells.  But I expect a lot will (after all, lots of people have cooking).  Again, you are saving people time.

If you are going to do this (and I would recommend it), I would say to just keep the General chat open and post in it every 5 minutes or so.  That way, you aren't really spamming, you aren't horribly annoying, and you can get other stuff done.  I would bark something like this

"Did you come to the Darkmoon Faire, but forgot your profession items?  Don't wanna go back and grab that [Simple Four].  I have all profession mats for each of the Faire's profession quests.  5g.  PST."

Something like that.  Remind them of the Profession quests, remind them of the items they might have missed.  Worst case, you really aren't out much.

At the Faire...The Tickets.

So the games are just a gold sink right.  Just a place for you to throw money away.  Well....sort of.  The tickets themselves can be traded for heirloom gear, pets, mounts, and replica armor items.  For the most part, the heirloom gear, pets and mounts probably aren't gold makers (though heirloom gear can be a time-saver and time is money, friend).

However, @Faidtastic pointed something very interesting out at the beginning of the Faire:  The replica items are Bind on Equip.  So, for us enterprising gold makers, it might be worth it to, say, pick up the Replica items for sale later on the Auction House.

Now, this is not something I am intimately familiar with.  But I will try it out and see what we can.  Transmog is huge right now, and I think there is a market for it.

At the Faire...Frogs.

Meet Flik

Borrowed from Wowwiki
He is a little Orc boy who is selling items.  He has 2 pets you can buy from him:  The Tree Frog Box and the Wood Frog Box.  What better way to use those than to sell them on the Auction House.  While you are running around, look for him and pick up a couple of Frogs, they are worth a little bit at least :).

He also has Heavy Leather Balls for like 20 copper.  I would love to try and make a market out of those (cause they are so cheap), but I am not sure if they would sell.  Anyone wanna try and it let me know, could be fun.

At the Faire...Farming.

Ok, so here is fantastic way to get some good money from the Darkmoon Faire:  Ignore the faire.  It sounds crazy, I know, but lets look at the island itself.

Head down to the docks and just run around the the southern part of the island, then run the up western part.  What do you see?

First, we see crabs.  Darkmoon Tide Crawlers, I believe.  They are pretty low level @ 10 and 11.  We can kill them.  They drop Crawler Meat and Crawler Claws.  Those are good for Cooking.  Cooking is a good thing, and people want items they can push past.  (I think it is somewhere between 50-100).

So while you are collecting those, what do you see in the water?  well there is open water and a bunch of planks and such.  Wait a minute, that isn't just random planks.  Those are actual "schools".  Back when I was talking about fishing, I said that you can fish from schools and are guarenteed to catch stuff.  It doesn't matter if you have 1 fishing or 525 fishing, you will get a catch from those.

So what do you get from this:

http://www.elsanglin.com/fish/sealed_crate_cataclysm.html

I figured I would just link you over to els extreme anglin, cause it has everything.  But lets list it here.

Cata Food and Darkmoon Faire Food (we can sell this to vendors usually, but still...)
Embersilk Cloth (at least 2 gold each)
Cata herbs (these are very volatile in price.  I have seen them as low as 75s ea and as high as 15 g ea.  Avg is usually 3-5 gold.)
Cata Ore (usually around 2-7 gold ea)
Small chance of potions, elixirs, leather, and volatiles (all of which can sell pretty well).

So, you can literally spend 1 hour running up and down the shores, killing crabs, and fishing and walk away with 100s of gold worth of stuff.  And we didn't have to do much to get it.  I call that a win.

Other things you can do at the Faire...

For now, I am just going to reserve this slot, cause I think there might be more at the Faire itself.  If you have anything to add to this, comment, email or just drop me a line.  I want this to be a better guide.

With the Darkmoon Adventure Guide, Gold can show up in other places.

What do I mean here?  Well, that Darkmoon Adventure Guide I told you to hold onto.  Well, keep it in your inventory.  When you have it in your inventory, you have a change to get a Blue quest item from Instance Bosses, Player Corpses in Battlegrounds, and raids.  The kills themselves have to be your appropriate level, but the drop rate is pretty good.  And they can sell ok, depending on the markets on your server.

On Power Word Guild, My Rogue PVPed a lot.  As such, I ended up with a lot of the three Darkmoon Faire Quest Items, and they sold for a while between 10 gold and 50 gold ea.  Not great, but not bad at all either.

If you are running Heroic Dungeons at 85, keep an eye out for the Treatise of Strategy, as that usually pulls a goodly amount due to its rarity right now.

So lets get Ohnekase to the Faire...

So, Ohnekase is going to visit the Darkmoon Faire, do the game, and spend about 1/2 hour fishing and farming.  Let's see what we can get from it.

Here we go...

Starting gold:  5119g 47s 11c

So, first, i am going to grab a few trade goods to see if I can catch anyone needing te professions.  Because it is Monday morning, I am not expecting much, but I will try.

Now to the Mystic Mage to get to the DMF.

Once I am in here, I am going to start barking every five minutes or so that I have the professions items if they forgot them.  My macro is going to be something like this

"/1 Did you forget your items to turn into the DMF?  Get them delivered.  I have the mats for the profession quests.  5g, PST."

OK, next I am going to go in and do what profession quests I can.  Its worth XP and $$$.  Plus I am going to see if Flik is around.

So, for profession quests, I can only do the Mining one, cause my Jewelcrafting and other professions are not high enough.  Oh well, I can do it next month.

Ok, now for the big money maker.  I am going to give myself an imposed 15 minute fishing limit so we can see how well I do in 15 min.   For this I am just going to run up and down the coast and fish from any of the crates that pop up.

Here we go:

Hmmm, so we are at a strange spot.  We have at least 1 other person fishing for these with us, possibly 2.  Both have mounts and likely the ability to track fish.  I do not.   I am thinking I may wait an hour or so.  If you were doing this, i would just recommend going and doing other stuff for a big, then coming back to this. So I think I will revisit this shortly.

Also, you can look at coming back here on times and days when fewer people are at the DMF anyway.  Times like Tuesday nights (people are raiding), anytime during the AM (people are sleeping, etc.  More or less, just keep an eye on your server specifically.

So, we will be right back.

OK, so we went up and down the beach.  It took me about 7 or 8 minutes.  I found probably 6 or 7 crates of stuff.  It is a lot of stuff.  So we will just call it there (that way I kinda hit about 15 mintutes with the time I spent earlier) and it was still profitable.

So, lets go to Thunder Bluff and sell a few things at the AH.

These were just a couple of nice things to sell.  They are selling for decent, so I will try.  If they don't sell, I wont lose sleep over it.  Lets look at the whole auction.

Ok, so we will check up on this later, but post it for now.

Later...

As I am finishing up writing this, I thought I would post the first part of later.

So, I will update with screen shots and we will go from there.

Conclusion

So yeah, the DMF is incredibly good for getting some good capital.  In 15 minutes of fishing (ish) I can pull probably over 100 gold.  For a low level with nothing, and little investment, that is huge.  I will keep you updated.  Try it out this or next month.

So until next time.

See ya next time...

This is a great low level goldmaking tip and I need to give props to @Powerwordgold and @faidtastic for their tips on these.  It fits really well with my blog, but I think I heard it from them first.  Make sure you check out other posts on this as well.  Mine is just the piece of the pile.  Cause this is a great low level goldmaking tip.

Meet Ohnekase: Profession Series: Jewelcrafting.

Meet Ohnekase, Part 2 of 2

Earthen Ring, US
Ok, part 2 is here.  So lets talk about Jewelcrafting and making some good money from it.

Jewelcrafting, huh?  You want to be a Jeweler....why?

Jewelcrafting (Or JC for short) is a profession that makes Rings, Amulets and, later, Gems.  At high levels, most people will tell you that it pairs so well with Enchanting and; makes you a ton of money, and they are right.  However, at low levels, I believe you can still make money as well.

The fun thing about rings and amulets are that you don't get any really until after level 10 or so, and they are not prevalant til way past level 10.  Seriously, a lot of people have alts in the 20s and 30s that still don't have both ring or an amulet slots.  I know it has happened to me a number of times.  So we can do something with that.

In addition, because we have been buying low on Copper, it will reduce our price.  Even some of the materials we make can be used for other things.

So lets look into the two pieces of it.

Crafting and Prospecting...

One interesting thing about this profession, and others, is that it is both a Crafting profession and a Gathering profession....sort of.  This is because Jewelcrafters have the unique ability to take 5 Ore and break them down into gems.  For example, I can take 5 Copper ore and break it down.  Breaking Copper Ore down gives me a chance of getting any of the following:  Malachite, Tigerseye, and Shadowgems.  These are then used in the crafting, or you can sell them.  However, that does also mean you can look at ore and, if it is cheap, prospect it and sell the gems.  That is really the base of how the Cata Ore shuffle works :P

For more specific values for this, check out the Jewelcrafting page of The Undermine Journal.  This will give you the value of the Ore, the Value of it as a Bar, and the Value of it Prospected.

Of course, on the other side, we have the crafting side.  For most stuff, you need a Jewelcrafter's Kit, which is cheap, and sometimes a forge or anvil.  You can make rings, and then do whatever we want with them.  You also will make some setting and such (Copper wire, Bronze Setting, etc.)  Some of those even have value outside the profession.

But enough talk, lets look at Ohnekase.

Ohnekase, Apprentice Jewelcrafter

So, obviously, the first thing we need to do is train it.  If you are in Stormwind, Theresa Denman (On the Canals touching the Trade District) can train you.  In Orgrimmar, Lugrah in the Valley of Honor can Train you.

10 Copper, that's it.  OK, take a check?
Sweet, i am now a Jewelcrafter.  What did I get for my trouble?

Some Wiring, a little statue, and a couple of rings.  Not great, but lets see.

First, I said that some of the settings and such can be useful.  Well, Delicate Copper Wire can be useful to other professions.  How?

Great, another reagant.  What the heck is Fused Wiring for?

Engineers love this stuff.  And they aren't easy to get.  Lets totally put some of those up.  So, lets do some Copper Wire for start (I also need several of them for later crafts anyway).

So I made Copper Wire til I got to 35 Jewelcrafting, which got me the ability to train for several other items.

Now lets look at rings, and lets see if any of them can make us money.

Ok, so we now have a list of rings that we can make and possible make money from.  Knowing this, lets talk about Threshold.  (And no, I am not talking about what happens if you have 7 cards in your graveyard, though Ohnekase gets +3/+3 if that happens).

Threshold in this context is the idea that we have a bottom price for what we can sell items for and still make money.  For example, if you make an Item and it costs 1 gold, you do not want to sell it for less than 1 gold if you can help it..  If you are trying to profit off of it, as long as you can sell it for more than 1 gold, 5 silver (5% is the traditional Auction House Cut), then you can make money.  So, in theory, your Threshold (also called a floor) is around 1 gold, 5 silver.

Now lets take a look at one of the rings, see what they cost to make, and see what they go for (There are addons that can help with this, but we will start manually).

So lets start with something simple, the Woven Copper Ring..

The Woven Copper Ring costs 2 Delicate Copper Wire and 1 Copper Bar.  Remember that we get Copper for around 15-25 silver each, so lets just go a little over and call it 30 Silver per Copper Ore/Bar.  This will cover the 5% the AH takes.  So, based on our calculations of our cost of materials, we get...

2 Delicate Copper Wire = 4 Copper Bar (1g 20 Silver)
1 Copper Bar (30 Silver)
Tota (1g 50 s)

So if we sell these for 1g 50 silver or more, we can make some money on them.  Are there any up on the AH?

That'd be a no there, disembodied voice.
So, no.  Occassionally, we will see them up for cheap, but for now, nothing is up.  Why don't we try one of those and see what we can make for it

I am going to put it up for 2g 50 s.  The reason is that for an alt (which a lot of low level characters are these days), 2g50s isn't bad, and the casting classes really like Intellect.  Besides, if it doesn't sell, we will be fine.  We can afford a bit of loss if we need to.

Ok, so that is the idea, lets try this with each Ring or amulet I have.

Here we go:

Braided Copper Ring:  2 Delicate Copper Wire = 4 Copper = 1g20s.  None up on the AH, so lets try another 2g50s.

Heavy Copper Ring:  4 Copper Bar + 4 Copper Bar (2 Wire) = 2g40s.  +2 Stam is nice for low level characters (20 health means a lot), so lets try a little higher here.  5 g.

Tigerseye Band:  1 Tigerseye + 2 Copper (1 Wire) = 60s + Tigerseye (which are 4g ea right now).  There are some up for 1g ea, so lets skip it, for now.  If Tigerseye goes down, or the Bands go up, we can try it.

Malachite Pendant:  1 Malachite (50s per, buying a bit to get stock) + 2 Copper (1 Wire) = 1g10s.  There are some up on the AH for 4 gold, so lets try that.  3g 98s.

Ornate Tigerseye Necklace: 2 Tigerseye + 2 Copper + 2 Copper (1 Wire) = 1g20s + Tigerseye x2.  There are some up for 10 gold, but I am going to pass on it for now.  I bet Tigereye will come down, but I will wait on this particular item.

Inlaid Malachite Ring:  2 Malachite (1g) + 2 Copper (60s) = 1g60s.  The ring is up for 15 gold, which is worth trying, cause we can drop it later if the price drops.  14g95s.

Ok, so I posted each of those up for what I said I was going to.  I posted them for 48 hours.  I am going to post this and see then update it when I see where we get to.  If one sell, I will probably craft another and put it back up.

The reason being is that I want to try and move as much JC as I can.  I get money every time, so there is no reason for me to not keep at least one on there as much as long as they are still profitable.

Later....

Well, we will get to that.

We got to it.  This is about 24 hours after my JC post here is what we have sold.  I made sure to repost as things sold.

Notice, little items sold pretty well  In fact, I upped the price each time on the Woven to see where it would go.  That is good.

The Emerald Item was me trying out the mogFathers item stuff.  At least one thing sold.  I have been buying a lot more stuff.  Not sure.  I may shoot myself in the foot with it.  But I don't think I will.

I will keep you updated.

Conclusion...

Ok, so we aren't quite done yet, but I like to talk about the use of Jewelcrafting.

On my Main Server (which I will talk about later), I have been testing this strategy with my cross-faction character.  I end up moving pieces for far more than I put into them.  As such, I can attest that with some low level profesisons, you can turn minor silly items, or items that have been passed up into real money.  Why do people like Malachite Pendants?  Because it is the best Amulet at lvl 14 and new leveling characters, as well as people who like to play level 14 pvp want it.  So they don't mind paying a bit more to get items which have real benefits to their characters (I am guessing it is the same with the Heavy copper ring.

Dont be afraid to experiment with low level items.  Put one up, see how it sells.  If it doesn't, don't make another and try again.  If it does, put another up and tweak the price.  There is nothing wrong with that.  Eventually, you will probably come up with an equilibrium that you are happy with.

So, join me later as we recap and see how we did.

See Ya Next Time....

Meet Ohnekase: The True Test. Getting the Grade.

Meet Ohnekase

Earthen Ring, US

This week we are beginning something a little different.  We have talked a big game, and talked about all of these different ways you can make money.  However, we have only taken it so far.  And, based on the Poll numbers I received from the poll I did, people would be interested in seeing a Character journey from 0 gold to lots of gold.  So, this week we are going to talk about a new Ohnekase, one that we will likely see for a while.

In this alternate reality, Ohnekase had a rough childhood.  His parents were killed at a very young age and he was raised by Tauren merchants.  For many years, he grew up learning the ways of the spirits and of the land from them.  His foster parents, being merchants themselves, took him into the city and taught him the ways of barter, selling, and, of course, of the ways of the Hunt.  In fact, Ohnekase took 2nd place in the Mulgore Archery competition.

However, Ohnekase knew he was a troll, and knew that his parents had been killed.  He knew that his people had no home.  So, when Vol'jin called everyone to help take back the Echo Isles, Ohnekase answered the call.  He was not strong enough to perform any major feats of strength, but he was able to help around Sen'jin villiage.  It was there that a Troll taught him to tame animals and helped him tame his first Raptor.  He named it Sul'fon, representing his own loner status among the Trolls.

However, we will follow his journey as he both bonds once again with the Darkspear Tribe and uses the tools that his parents gave him as a child to make a living for himself.

Choices...

Ok, so for me, I chose a couple of specific things.  I created a Hunter on Earthen Ring, and I made him Horde.  Real quick note of why I did it.

I have a lot of characters, but I have never leveled a hunter to any significant level, so I wanted a hunter.  Besides, they make great soloing classes.

I chose Earthen Ring for 2 reasons.  First, I have people I know on Earthen Ring, which is very important.  Second, I have wanted to look into joining the guild AIE, which is the guild that is part of the Instance Podcast.  I have never seen a guild this big and am very intrigued by the concept.  Plus, as we have talked about, guilds are a good thing.

Third, I made him Horde because I like Horde better.  I love Trolls and think they are awesome.  The fact that I don't have a high level Troll is just short of heresy.

UI Updates...

I made some updates to Ohnekase's UI for this experiment.  I didn't put it on this post.  If you are interested in the updates.  Check out this post.

The Test...

So we are going put money making skills to the test.  I am going to use some stuff that we have talked about, some stuff we haven't talked about (I will talk about it when I can), and some stuff that we don't know about yet.

Here is my "test".  We will pretend this is a class and I have been given the final.  The Goal.  Start a character and level it to 40.  Make as much money along the way as you can.  The grade will be given as such.

<1000 Gold:  F.  I will not fail, this is not acceptable.
1000+ Gold:  C.  Not bad, but it is my goal to do better.
2000+ Gold:  B.  Good, but not where I am going for.
3000+ Gold:  A.  I can do this, and this is my goal.

I believe I can get an A on this test, and I fully intend to try.

With that said, lets begin.

The Journey of 3000 gold...

Let's get started.  Obviously, we want to get through the first 5 levels.

Hello, Vol'Jin.  I am sorry to hear that we don't like Garrosh.
I will do what I can to help.
They do look cute.
So, I took this pic to point out the Clam Meat that you can get
in early quests.  Note this cause it can sell really well.
So, in the first 5 levels I picked up some clam meat and I got a Small Lustrous Pearl, which also sells really well.

So, at level 5 lets look at what we have, and decide what professions we want.

So, we are in Sen'jin and I want to pick up some professions.  I am partial to Mining and Skinning usually, but lets check a few items on The Undermine Journal for Earthen Ring Horde and see what we can get.  (Also, I did pick up fishing, so I can fish out of pools).

So, it looks like Herbalism and Mining are the most profitable for now.  I like to go with these as well, so I don't really see a problem with that.

Starts with the first step.

We have to go to Orgrimmar to train Mining, but that is fine.  The flight is free and we can try and sell some of that loot of ours.

Lets look at the auctions.

The Mackeral may not sell, but lets see what we can do.  Lets check back later.

Clam Meat sold.  3 gold.
Excellent, so the clam meat sold.  That is good.  3 gold is always a good start.

Now, one thing I want to do is to pick up some Copper Ore, turn it into bars, and sell it.

So, Copper ore was 22 silver for 2 (I can't afford the stacks of 20 yet, otherwise, I would buy that).

Ok, so we are selling 2 of them, lets see where we get to.

Now, I am going to fly back to Sen'jin and continue questing.  While I am out, lets see if we can't find more.

Day 2

So, I spent some time questing.  While I was questing, though, I spent some time farming as well, while I was questing.  For now, my goal is to start with something small, and look into getting myself a little further on the money train.

So lets see take a look at my questing, and we will see where we are at the end.

Don't forget to skin everything.  Leather is Money, friend.
Not a lot of bag slots, so lets sell in between quests.
Oooh, minimap says there is a mining node.  Gotta go get that.
Alright, about 1/2 hour of questing and farming, lets wrap up for the week.

So, I quested and leveled for about 1/2 hour, lets see what we have.

Malachite, Leather, Copper, this should be good.
Ok, so lots of stuff to sell.  In addition, I decided to take my own advice and grab some Essence and Dust from the Enchanter and pick up the Snakes.

So, we will end this week.  Next week, we will see what sold and see where we are going from there.

So, until then,

See ya next time...

Meet Ohnekase: Quick Gold Tips: Cooking Daily

Hey all,

Again, Ohnekase will not be joining us this time.  Instead, I found/heard about a quick gold making tip that I think we can make some money off of and I am going to be using in the future.

It has to do with cooking.  Now, I am not a big fan on cooking as a strong money maker (at least not until higher levels).

However, it does allow you to do a daily every day wherever you are leveling and get tokens which can be spent on neat items.

It is this item that I want to mention.

Cooking Daily

The cooking dailies are usually fairly easy.  I would say that probably anyone can do them, though it gets even easier as you get levels.

For example, lets take a look at a simple cooking quest, courtesy of Wowhead (in Orgrimmar).

Ok, not too hard a quest (we may have to be level 10 if Wowhead is to be believed, but that is still low level).  Go grab a couple of barrels of Rice from the Trolls and get XP (scales with level) and some gold.  But the big thing we get is Chef's reward.  Why is this good news?

Simple.

So we get Cocoa Beans from the Imported Supplies.  Cocoa beans are used in Cooking to make Chocolate Chip Cookies, among other things.

So, how much do these go for?

Lets check a server on The Undermine Journal

On Earthen Ring, US.  Horde.

So, 3 gold each.  Lets say we get only 20 of them (I am pretty sure you get more, but dont hold me to that).  That is still 60 gold for a few minutes of work.

I am going to use this and, if you need money, look into this too.

That is my quick tip this time around.  Hope it helps ya.

See ya next time....
